This morning was very cool, almost cold, but as I pulled in to the drive I could see that a number of people were already out with their dogs and Maurice was working a young dog in the pasture. I was delighted to see Lewis and Edie Scott with their pointers and it was really great to see them. The dogs and friends warmed the body and spirit against the brisk air.

A regular favorite, Boo, shows off his high style.

Two puppies, one Griffon and one Brittany hunt freely on birds released from the johnny house. In the beginning they do nothing but play with each other, but as soon as they have bird contact their interest is all on the birds.

My dog, "H". Mo really likes the first point where "H" swaps ends and locks on point. "He really looks happy with himself", Mo says. I agree.
