| This Saturday we had a special "event"; a mock field trial. At a farm
near the kennel we congregated and ran braces of dogs with Maurice as
our judge, trainer, and mentor. Beginning at 9:00AM we went until near
dark with only a short break for a McDonald's burger (thanks JP). The experience was like attending the perfect trial. The weather was perfect, we handled the dogs the way that we wanted, with the training tools that we wanted, under the guidance of our mentor, Maurice, had "do-overs", and all placements were 1st place. |
